The previous post, Redemption, was inspired by a writing competition I entered for Thought Catalog. I wasn’t expecting it to be published so soon.
So although not a ton of variety this week, here is a slightly altered version of my experience of Fall…this year, anyway.
Fall Reminds Me That Everything Can Come Back To Life
Too kind…thank you.

Super-duper proud of you, Brooke! I can’t seem to get my poop in a group to even attempt something like this once, but with ease, you just keep doing it over and over again. Your tenacity inspires me, and my admiration for you is basically immeasurable. You are kinda my hero. This article made me smile, not only because your talent jumped right off the page and punched me in the face, but because I also know what awaits you…only extraordinary.

Ummm, maybe cause you are writing a book in addition to your full time job!! I’m glad it made you smile (prefer that to choking and punching!!!) ;o) extraordinary, yes, I’m all in. And I’ve no doubt the same awaits you, my girl!

I have always felt so alive in autumn yet only saw the death. Now I am reframing my thinking and seeing the redemption in my own life this season. Beautiful!

Thanks, Gwen. It took a lot to get to here… and it goes in waves, which you will see in “i tried, but it’s raining’ if you want some layers. but there is always redemption in the end, right? There has to be or why the fuck are we here. I mean, that is the hope, anyway…
