    • You are awesome, Gabe, thanks so much for taking the time to read this. It was a fun one vs some other ones I’ve had to bleed out. Your writing is super engaging and I’m always up for an adventure. Thanks for sharing yours!!

    • Thanks, for reading and taking the time to comment, Sariska! Just thought it was time to affirm, for those of us who don’t fall into the ‘white picket fence’ category, that we got this down,
too! (well, some days, anyway). Not that there is anything wrong with those who opt for picket fences. I would just choose a different color. 😉

  1. I love the way you think (…and put your perspective into actuality).
Living your life the authentic way (not bounded by the conventions of the world) should be the way to live. I’m a strong advocate for that.
    Two thumbs up Natalie!

  2. Just yesterday I was thinking about how ‘weird’ I am, and how some of my closest friends don’t understand me. Like at all. And I believe that in their minds, I am considered a failure. But what they don’t understand is that I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I know exactly who I am and what it takes to make me happy. Do they? I don’t think they do. My happiness is not based on material things or the status quo, but beeing free to follow my heart and the dreams that have haunted me since I was a child. What drives me is peace of mind, and a desire to die knowing I gave it my absolute all because I had the strength to keep listening to my inner voice, and not the voices of those around me saying, ‘you need to do it this way.’ How lucky am I that I am so weird and perhaps crazy? I am living exactly as I want and feel so blessed because I have a perspective that allows me to see beyond the horizon. How many people can actually say that? Sadly, not so many. But you can. And like a kindred spirit, you have reminded me that I am doing this all the right way. To know that there is someone out there who totally ‘gets it’ motivates me to keep being crazy. Thank you so much, Brooke!
